Still have questions?
Who are the classes for?
Stage Spark Academy welcomes young performers who love to sing, dance, act, or simply enjoy performing. No previous experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
What age groups do you offer?
Our classes are divided into age-appropriate groups. Please refer to the Classes page for the current age ranges and timetable.
Does my child need experience?
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners as well as children with previous performing arts experience. Activities are adapted to help every student grow at their own pace.
What happens during the year?
Students attend weekly classes over the programme (25 or 27 weeks depending on which class they are registered in), developing their confidence and performance skills in singing, acting, and dance. Throughout the year they work towards our annual showcase, A Night at the West End, performed in a theatre.
Will every child perform on stage?
Yes. Every student enrolled in the programme will have the opportunity to take part in the final performance.
What should my child wear?
Children should wear comfortable clothing they can move in and trainers or dance shoes. Once enrolled, each student will receive information about the official Stage Spark Academy rehearsal T-shirt.
Are costumes included?
Performance costume requirements will be communicated well in advance. Where possible, we aim to keep costs low by using simple items families may already own or by providing guidance on what is needed.
What if my child misses a class?
Your place is reserved for the full programme rather than individual lessons. Unfortunately, missed classes cannot be refunded, credited, or exchanged, and we are unable to offer make-up lessons.
What happens if Stage Spark Academy cancels a class?
If we need to cancel a class due to circumstances within our control, we will schedule an additional rehearsal or class so students receive the full programme.
Can my child join after the course has started?
If places are available, late enrolment may be possible during the first weeks of the programme. Please contact us before registering.
How many children are in each class?
Class sizes are intentionally kept manageable to ensure every student receives individual attention while enjoying the benefits of working as an ensemble.
How do I register?
Registration is completed through our online registration form. Your child’s place is confirmed once registration has been accepted and payment has been received. Please note that places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. We offer the option to pay in two installments. Full details, payment dates, and terms are available during registration.
Can parents watch the classes?
To help students build confidence and independence, regular classes are for participants only. Parents will be invited to open rehearsals or performances where applicable.
What if my child is shy?
That’s perfectly normal. Building confidence is one of the main goals of Stage Spark Academy. We create a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to participate at their own pace.
Who teaches the classes?
Classes are led by experienced performing arts professionals with a passion for helping young people grow in confidence, creativity, and stage skills.
