At Stage Spark Academy, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment where every participant can learn, grow and enjoy the performing arts. By registering for one of our programmes, parents and guardians agree to the following terms and policies.

Privacy & Data Protection
Stage Spark Academy collects only the personal information necessary to manage registrations, communicate with families and provide our services. This may include parent or guardian contact details, participant information, emergency contacts and relevant medical information.
Personal data is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We never sell or share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to deliver our services.
You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Photography & Video
From time to time, photographs or short videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals and performances to celebrate our activities and share the work of our students.
Images will only be used for Stage Spark Academy’s website, social media channels and promotional materials where appropriate consent has been given. Parents or guardians may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting us.
Safeguarding
The wellbeing and safety of every participant is our highest priority. We are committed to creating an environment where children feel respected, supported and encouraged to express themselves.
All staff and volunteers are expected to uphold our safeguarding standards and, where applicable, hold the appropriate background checks required under Dutch regulations.
Any safeguarding concerns will be treated seriously and managed in accordance with our safeguarding procedures.
Health & Medical Information
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing Stage Spark Academy of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or additional support needs that may affect a participant’s safety or participation.
Emergency contact details must be kept up to date throughout the course.
Behaviour & Respect
We believe theatre is built on teamwork, kindness and mutual respect. Participants, parents, guardians and staff are expected to treat one another with courtesy and consideration at all times.
Bullying, discrimination, abusive behaviour or repeated disruption will not be tolerated and may result in appropriate action where necessary.
Intellectual Property
Scripts, choreography, music arrangements, teaching materials, branding and other content produced by Stage Spark Academy remain the intellectual property of the academy or their respective copyright owners and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
Liability
While Stage Spark Academy takes every reasonable care to provide a safe environment, participation in performing arts activities involves a degree of physical activity. Parents and guardians acknowledge these inherent risks and agree that Stage Spark Academy cannot be held responsible for injury, loss or damage except where caused by negligence.
Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own personal belongings.
Changes to These Terms
Stage Spark Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Policies from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
